1. SMS/Mobile Messaging Terms

Shipman Partners provides an SMS service to communicate with clients regarding property updates, market alerts, appointment reminders, and marketing promotions.

• User Opt-In: By providing your mobile number and checking the opt-in box on our website forms, you provide your express written consent to receive recurring automated marketing and informational text messages from Shipman Partners. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

• Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on user activity and search preferences.

• Message & Data Rates: Message and data rates may apply. Please consult your mobile carrier for details.

• Opt-Out (STOP): You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text “STOP” to the number from which you received the message. We will send you a one-time confirm message that you have been unsubscribed.

• Help (HELP): If you are experiencing issues, text “HELP” for assistance, or contact us at 512-222-6958 or agent@shipmanpartners.com.

• Carriers: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

2. Showcase IDX and Property Search

Our property search functionality is powered by Showcase IDX.

• License to Use: You are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive license to use the IDX search features for your personal, non-commercial use to identify properties you may be interested in purchasing or leasing.

• Data Accuracy: While we strive for accuracy, listing data is provided by various Multiple Listing Services (MLS). We do not guarantee the accuracy of listing information, including square footage, lot size, or property condition.

• Account Responsibility: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your IDX account login and for all activities that occur under your account.

3. Use of the Site

• Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years of age to use this Site.

• Prohibited Conduct: You agree not to “scrape,” “crawl,” or use automated bots to extract data from this Site or its IDX feed. You may not use the Site for any fraudulent or illegal activity.

• Intellectual Property: All content, logos, and software on this Site are the property of Shipman Partners or its licensors and are protected by U.S. copyright and trademark laws.

4. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

• “As-Is” Service: The Site and all services are provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis without warranties of any kind.

Important Note on SMS Privacy: No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

 

6. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Williamson County, Texas.
